These short (1-inch) sharp stainless steel dressmaker pins are perfect for apparel construction, and applique quilting – anywhere that you would prefer to use a short, fine pin rather than a long pin with a ball or a flat head. These are completely made of stainless steel – so no problems with pinheads melting if you happen to run your iron over them. (It’s still not a great idea, I would try to avoid that.)
