Hand Sewing
Long before I ever used a sewing machine – my grandmother taught me to mend clothing, and darn socks (using a light bulb inside the sock!) by hand. I love using a needle and thread – slow sewing is a very “Zen” thing for me.
In our crazy, busy world – I think that the renewed interest in picking up a needle and thread to sew something by hand is understandable. It can bring a sense of calm, a time out from everything else that’s going on.
Is there a hand-sewing tool, notion, or thread you are looking for that you don’t see listed here? Let me know and I’ll do my best to find it for you.
