Fabric Marking Tools

There are SO MANY different types of fabric marking tools. The place to start is with what you need the fabric pen/pencil to do. Are you looking for something permanent – like a laundry marker or to write on a quilt label? Do you need to mark your quilting design on a quilt top and you want to make sure it goes away after you are done quilting? Or – are you looking for pens to enhance an art quilt?

Pens, pencils, chalk – there are so many options. I’ve selected the ones I love to use or options that many of you have shared with me over the years. It often comes down to personal preference and what you have found works best for you.
