I’ve been using a small hand-held sewing machine vacuum for years to clean my sewing machine. It was originally purchased to clean the crumbs out of my keyboard and other small spaces. I found that it easily (and safely) sucks out all the lint and fibers that accumulate inside my machine. My old version needed an upgrade and this is what I chose to replace it with.

Please note: Never (I mean NEVER) use the blower function to blow the threads and dust out of your machine. That only pushes them further into the machine – and that leads to expensive repairs.
