I love to take quilting and sewing classes – but my schedule is always so busy that I never seem to have the time when the opportunity presents itself. Until recently – it didn’t occur to me that I could probably find a class or two online that I could start and stop as I needed to. Really – I spend so much time online that it seems silly it didn’t occur to me before now – but that’s the way it works sometimes.
In my wandering around the internet – I found a site called Creative Spark by CT Publishing. They have a whole library of live and on-demand online classes. I took one (about working with Fusible Web) – just because and learned a few things I didn’t know (I LOVE that). It wasn’t very expensive, I could take the class right from my desktop – at the time I had available to watch. I got to spend some creative “me time” and I learned a few things. That’s a bonus all around in my book.
While my search and interest were initially for my personal creative needs – I thought you might be interested in the online learning library too. I will be adding some of the classes to a new section in the shop (called Classes) as I check them out and evaluate them for myself.
If you happen to take one of the classes – I’d love to know what you think. Did you find it useful? Was the content offered at a good pace. Did you learn something new?
Should you decide to check out a class or two – I may earn a small commission from CT Publishing. It would not change the registration fee for any class you decided to take.
