Our quilting adventure continues! Each month, from now through November, I’ll share a new block (or 2) from the Quiltblox 2025 Mystery Quilt. Does that mean it’s too late for you to start? Not at all. More about that in a minute.
I’m choosing to create this mystery quilt in a “Controlled Scrappy” format. I have a pile of Kaffe scraps that I’m using to make my quilt blocks. You can use whatever fabrics you like to create yours. I do recommend using a consistent background for all your blocks. This will become important when we get to the setting instructions in November.
Many of the blocks were chosen to teach – or practice a specific skill. Don’t worry – I’ll provide very clear directions; you’ll be fine. If you do have a question – please reach out to me, I’m happy to walk you through it. I have faith in you – together, we’ll have some fun with this.

Getting the Mystery Quilt instructions
The instructions for each block, as well as the setting instructions for the quilt, are going out to newsletter subscribers each month in the newsletter. In order to get the instructions, you need to be a newsletter subscriber. Every newsletter contains the links to all the blocks released so far.
