A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about how I often use wide backing quilting fabric for the backs of my quilts. This is particularly true if I’m working on quilts I plan to donate. I find that using wide back fabrics (I often purchase them from Keepsake Quilting – they regularly offer special prices on what they call “Wide Back Wednesdays“) is a more economical way to create the backs of quilts.
That post connected with lots of people – some of whom reached out to me to ask how they could print out the information.
No problem at all – I’ve added the chart and the calculations to the Quilt Math section of my site. I’ve also included a link below the chart picture.
If you visit the LEARN section of this site, you’ll find lots of other helpful charts you can print out and keep on hand for those moments when the “math isn’t mathing,” and you could use a quick-reference chart.
Do you have another Quilt Math idea that you’d love to have a quick reference for? Just let me know, and I’ll see what I can do. You can contact me here: Contact
