Quiltblox – How I’m Stocking the Shelves
I have chosen to focus my Quiltblox shop on my own product line – digital patterns and other customizable digital products – like my line of quilt labels. I’m also working to curate a catalog of my favorite Quilty Treasures – including:
- Products I’ve used and love.
- Those I’ve tried and don’t use myself but love how well they work for their intended purpose.
- Items that have been recommended to me by a member of the Quiltblox Creative Community (you).
Why? It’s about inventory – and the lack of space I have for it. This way – I can share all my favorite quilty treasures with you – without having to store them or count them as inventory at the end of the year.
Partnering with an Affiliate Merchant
Like every other business (on main Street or online) – I source products to offer you from lots of other industry businesses. I did that when I purchased product for my retail shop and I do it now for my virtual shop. To make sure you have access to what you may need – I will often link to those products that another business carries. This means I don’t have to stock those items and inventory them on a regular basis. I couldn’t possibly carry every amazing tool, notion, or other sewing/quilting item available.
Rather than having ads for those items all over my site (I hate that) – I will link to them (in context) within the articles I write on my BLOG or the content I share with you in the LEARN section of my site. Look for highlighted words and phrases to find them. Just ignore them if you aren’t interested – or give them a look if it’s something you may find useful.
The other place you can find what you need – is in my SHOP section. You will find all my favorites (including my own patterns and other products) organized into categories. Just choose the category and peruse the “shelves” to find what you need to complete your project. Click on the link next to the image for any item you are interested in and you will be taken to the purchase page for that item.
Prices: You may notice that I don’t often list the retail price for items in my shop (except my own Quiltblox patterns and Quilt Label Sets). Here’s why – the partners I work with frequently have sales or special promotions going on with the items I offer and I have no way of keeping up with all the pricing changes. Instead, you will see a “Check the Price” button on most product listing pages.
Choosing Products to Share with You
PLEASE NOTE: I only share links to products that I use myself or that I have worked with and feel that they will perform as desired for the quilting/sewing task that I am writing about. I will also often include items that have been requested by a member of the Quiltblox Creative Community (you : )
I’m pretty picky about the items I choose to share with you. If I test a product and it doesn’t perform well for me – I won’t share it with you. I do test a lot of products – it’s one of my favorite parts of my job!
If you do choose to purchase a product after finding it here on my site – I may earn a small commission – that’s how my (and every other) business works. In any case, whether I earn a commission or not – what’s important to me is to provide you with a path to learn more about what’s available. That way you can choose whatever tool, notion, book, or other quilting/sewing item may best meet your own needs.
Affiliate Merchants I Partner With:
As an affiliate partner of these businesses – I earn a commission when a qualifying purchase is made. The price you pay for the product is not impacted by any commission I may receive.
