I’ve been using EQ8 for some time now. I’m certainly not an expert – but I am using it to create all of my Quiltblox pattern designs. It’s well worth the learning curve and the designs you can create are limitless. There are lots of available resources (books, classes, and Facebook groups to name just a few.) If you’ve ever thought about designing your own quilts – now’s the time.
