On a Midnight Stroll – Original Design – 40″ x 40″
On a midnight stroll is entirely foundation paper pieced. I love those ceramic figurines of a ghost walking a dog and decided to design a wall quilt loosely based on that figurine.

Farmhouse Pumpkins by Button, Twill & Twine – 63″ x 80″
Farmhouse Pumpkins is an easy-to-make fall quilt featuring pumpkins and stars in an on-point setting. Choosing fabrics is simple: six orange fat quarters, two backgrounds, a border, and a little green for the stems. Included Flying Geese templates make it easy to get crisp, perfect points. I love that I can display it from September through Thanksgiving!

Vintage Farmhouse by Button Twill & Twine – 63″ x 80″
Vintage Farmhouse features foundation paper-pieced houses paired with classic star blocks in a charming on-point setting. Halloween fabrics transform the cozy farmhouse design into a playful neighborhood with plenty of spooky personality. When I first designed my Vintage Farmhouse pattern, I knew I wanted to make a Halloween version. I loved the idea of fussy-cutting Halloween characters to peek out from the windows.

Backdoor Quilts – October and November – 11″ x 30.5″
These two wall hangings were from a series called Backdoor Quilts.
This was a commercial pattern, but I don’t remember who the designer was. Each month, the teacher provided us with one of these patterns and the fabric to make it. I do enjoy putting up a new quilt every month just inside my entryway.

Halloween Block Exchange – 58″ x 75″
Years ago, I started doing mystery quilts from National Quilt Circle. Somebody within one of the Mystery Quilts Facebook page asked if anybody would like to do a block exchange. So of course I jumped on the bandwagon.
Her parameters were that you had to use a Halloween print and do the friendship star block pattern with a black background. I sent in my 12 identical blocks, and when I got my return package sent back, it had my block and 11 other blocks from other Quilters. I put it together, and I asked the coordinator if she would give me the names and where the other quilters’ hometowns were. I Embroidered each name on each block into my Quilt. One of the blocks was made by a nine-year-old. This is one of my favorite fall Quilts.

Halloween Block Exchange Quilt – Back – 58″ x 75″
I saw this panel hanging in a window while I was on a Shop Hop. I just had to have it for my Halloween quilt. I also bought the fabric that went around it. It makes for a double-sided quilt, which I love doing.

Terese Scollard
Hocus Pocus by Margo Languedoc – 52″ x 65″
This kit looked lovely. Took a long time for me to make it, and the top sat for years until it was recently quilted by Laurie Hopper in time for Halloween 2026!
Terese Scollard
Twilight Boolevard Bench Pillow by Kimberbell – 16″ x 38″

I bought this kit when it first came out, as it was so amazing. It took me years to get up the courage to make it, and it was my first learning project on my embroidery machine. So had me pretty scared. I have made 5 of them for gifts, and they are the cutest bench pillows!

Terese Scollard
Halloween Panel Quilt – 24″ x 36″

Terese Scollard

Twisted Jack by Becky Logan of Need’l Love – 40″ x 43″
My husband and I traveled to Walla Walla, WA, and I saw this quilt hanging in the quilt shop “stash”. You have to first make a cube version of the quilt and then cut it up using a twister tool. Then sew it back together. I made it for us, we love Halloween.

Vickie Rooks
Pink Pumpkin Patch – Original Design – 66″ x 66″
I wanted a whimsical Halloween quilt so I made Pink Pumpkin Patch using Metropolitan Patchwork Society winnings and fabrics from my stash. Added a ghost and the word BOO. Made the pumpkins in a variety of sizes set on a black and gray checkered background. My references: Stitch Your Story book by Sarah Fielke; Ghost by Sassafras Lane Designs; and Pink Pumpkin Quilt Block by Poppie Cotton.

So many beautiful Halloween projects!
I hope you enjoyed the show. I have plans for some additional shows with completely different themes for 2027.
Happy Stitching!
