This is month 2 of our quilting adventure. Each month, from now through November, I’ll be sharing a new block (or 2) from the Quiltblox 2025 Mystery Quilt.
I’m choosing to create this mystery quilt in a “Controlled Scrappy” format. I have a pile of Kaffe scraps that I’m using to make my quilt blocks. You can use whatever fabrics you like to create yours. I do recommend using a consistent background for all your blocks. This will become important when we get to the setting instructions in November.
Many of the blocks were chosen to teach – or practice a specific skill. Don’t worry – I’ll provide very clear directions; you’ll be fine. If you do have a question – please reach out to me, I’m happy to walk you through it. I have faith in you – together, we’ll have some fun with this.

The instructions for each block – as well as the setting instructions for the quilt, are going out to newsletter subscribers each month in the newsletter. In order to get the instructions, you need to be a newsletter subscriber.
