BJ The Blue Jay – Printed Pattern Pack
BJ the Blue Jay is a premium design with everything a foundation paper piece quilter could want. Designed with rich blues and lush greens, this quilt top kit will make a fabulous wall-hanging art piece, or baby quilt, or surround this design with complimentary fabric to create a stunning full-sized quilt top. This kit contains color maps, fabric lists, an assembly guide, the complete pattern printed on foundation paper, and clearly labeled, ample cuts of 83 different shades of Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton Solids to complete this medium-sized, 30-inch wide by 40-inch long quilt top.
BJ was named after a bird that followed a friend in her backyard. Flitting from tree to tree while she walked, BJ called out to her and would occasionally land on my friend’s hand.
This is a printed pattern for a quilt top only. The fully printed pack is to be used only once by the original purchaser. Knowledge of foundation paper piecing is required to assemble this work of art. This product includes a visual guide to paper piecing and a recommendation for a YouTube video that teaches this technique.
