Batting
We all have our favorite kind of batting depending on what type of project we’re working on.
If I’m making a quilt, I tend to prefer 80/20 cotton – poly or 100% cotton (old school – I know). I don’t use poly batting for a baby quilt – it’s too warm and babies don’t regulate their hearing as well as adults do. I would absolutely use it if I were making a picnic quilt. It’s super lightweight and washes well.
I’m also having some fun playing with other batting materials such as wool and bamboo.
Is there a batting (size/materials/brand) you are looking for that you don’t see listed here? Let me know and I’ll do my best to find it for you.
