Our quilting adventure has come to a satisfying end. Each month, I’ve been sharing a new block (or 2) from the Quiltblox 2025 Mystery Quilt.
We’ve been working on this for several months now, and it’s time to reveal what the whole quilt looks like.
I chose to create this mystery quilt in a “Controlled Scrappy” format. I had a pile of Kaffe scraps that I used to make my quilt blocks. These fabrics originally belonged to a dear friend who loved them – and was convinced that I would too. When I inherited them, I had to admit, they sat in neatly organized totes, waiting for the right project to showcase them. Seeing Stars has been that project.
I’ve been loving the huge variety of fabrics that those following along on this mystery have been using! So many creative color choices. And… until now, I’m the only one who has seen the completed quilt (well, me and Kimberly Ratchford of Stitched in Purple, who beautifully long-armed this quilt).

This has been such a fun project to work on this year, and I can’t wait for you to see what I have in store for 2026!
