The All Pacific Northwest Shop Hop runs from April 1 (no fooling) to May 31st, 2025. This is the biggest Shop Hop event to be held in our area (maybe ever).
I am delighted to share that I was one of 11 designers chosen to create a quilt using the Shop Hop event fabrics.
My quilt (Cascades), features the Riley Blake fabrics selected to represent the state of Washington. The quilt is pictured on Page 89 of the Shop Hop magazine, and the instructions are available on the All Pacific Northwest Shop Hop event website.
It’s an easy quilt to make, I designed the block using Half Square triangles and squares. The center of each star is the perfect size to drop in a collectible Shop Hop square. I love the dramatic size of the blocks – the quilt went together so quickly!
The quilt will be on display at Quilting Mayhem in Snohomish, Washington, until the end of the Shop Hop on May 31st. If you are visiting the shop for the Shop Hop – I’d love a picture of the quilt!
The All Pacific Northwest Shop Hop Magazine
There are 73 Oregon and Washington shops participating in this event. Be sure to pick up a copy of the magazine at any participating shop. The event is divided into regions – so you don’t need to do the entire thing to be eligible for prizes.
The magazine includes six beautiful quilts – with complete instructions, details about every participating shop, and lots of other quilty info as well. It will make a great quilting travel resource – even after the Shop Hop ends.
