The Easy Angle 6.5″ Acrylic Template from EZ Quilting
Have you ever made a quilt where the design called for lots of triangles or rhombus shapes? This template makes that process so quick and easy to do. Just cut your strips to the width you need – up to 6.5″. Then line up the template with the top edge of your fabric on the line (for the width of your strips) to keep it squared up.
- Triangles: Use your rotary cutter to cut the 45-degree angle as well as the straight edge to get your finished triangle shape.
- Rhombus: Use your rotary cutter to cut the first 45-degree angle. Measure over the distance you need for the next 45-degree cut (including seam allowance) to get your finished rhombus shape. I always think of the Rhombus as a “tilted rectangle”.
- The Easy Angle template includes easy-to-read marking – and the 1/4″ seam allowance.
