I’ve been sewing and quilting a very long time. Even so – I still have so many new things I want to learn – that’s the beauty of this art, there’s always something new to explore
Along the way, I’ve learned some tips, methods and approaches that have improved my own quilting process and in Quiltblox: Learn – I’m happy to share some of what I’ve learned with you.
A WORK IN PROGRESS
This section is (and will probably always be) a work in progress so check back often. You can also follow my Facebook Page – I’ll let you know about new Learn topics there too
Below you will see just a few of the topics I’m working on right now. Just click on any of the pictures to get to that specific topic. Don’t see a link – not to worry – I’m working on it and you’ll see it as soon as I have it posted. Don’t see a topic you are looking for? Let me know and I might just add it to the list for a future LEARN Topic.

When I was learning to quilt – many of these tips I didn’t know about. If I did know – I thought they were just taking up too much time. I didn’t want to slow down my process. Surely – they couldn’t make that much of a difference. Right? Wrong.

It’s just the back of the quilt – right? Not for me – I love the back of the quilt to be
a little bit special.

I have a few charts and Guides I use when I’m planning a new quilt or working on a pattern. You’ll find copies of them here – I hope you find them as helpful as I do.

A temperature quilt is a record of the daily (or weekly) high and low temperatures over the course of a period of time – typically a year. One block would represent a day (or a week). Learn to make your own Temperature Quilt.
