I recently attended a presentation by MJ Kinman (author of Gemstone Quilts) and was wowed by her technique. Her gorgeous designs are based on actual gemstones, and in the book, she walks us through the entire process. Using freezer paper and an accurate 1/4″ seam, she creates these dazzling quilts – and shows us how we can do it too.
