Bias Tape Maker Kit:

Make any fabric into an accent, trim, or binding with the bias tape maker – a size for almost any finished binding. It’s fast, economical, and perfectly coordinated with your project. Just pull the fabric through and press; the tool folds it perfectly.

Includes 5 sizes:

• 1/4″  (6mm)
• 3/8″ (9mm)
• 1/2″ (12mm)
• 3/4″  (18mm)
• 1″  (25mm)

 

FABRIC STRIP CUT WIDTHS

• Green – Size 1/4″ (6mm) – Cut the strips at 1/2″ (12mm)
• Orange – Size 3/8″ (9mm): Cut the strips at 3/4″ (18mm)
• Yellow – Size 1/2″ (12mm): Cut the strips at 1″ (24mm)
• Red – Size 3/4″ (18mm): Cut the strips at 1-1/2″ (36mm)
• Blue – Size 1″ (25mm): Cut the strips at 2″ (46mm)

 

HOW TO USE THE BIAS TAPE MAKER KIT

1.To cut bias strips, first cut across the fabric at a 45° angle, then cut the strips the width you need, parallel to this freshly cut edge.

2. Wrong side up, feed the bias strip into the wide end of the tape maker; use an awl to pull fabric through.

3. Pin the end of the strip to the ironing board. Pull the tape maker and press the folds; keep the iron close to the tape maker.
