Presented by Quilters Anonymous – Galaxy of Quilts, inspired by images from the James Webb Telescope. It opens Friday, March 15, and continues through March 17. More than 450 quilts made by our members fill up the event center at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, 14405 179th Ave. SE in Monroe, Washington. Here are the details:
The show opens at 10 am and is open until 5 p.m. Friday & Saturday, March 15 & 16. On Sunday, March 17, the show is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are sold at the door for $10, good for all three days. Credit cards are accepted. Children 12 and under are free. Parking is free. Food and coffee are available at a reasonable cost.
There are 26 vendors offering fabric, patterns, sales, sewing machines, and a variety of other items that quilters love.
Demonstrations by talented members and several of the vendors take place on the hour from 11 am to 3 pm Friday and Saturday and 11 am to 2 pm Sunday.
