The All Pacific Northwest Shop Hop runs from April 1 (no fooling) to May 31st, 2026. This is the biggest Shop Hop event to be held in our area each year and now includes Idaho as well as Oregon and Washington. 126 participating shops – this is going to be fun!
I am delighted to share that I was one of 5 designers featured in the magazine for this event. Several additional designers were selected to have their quilts featured on the event website. We were each provided the fabrics for our designs, and I have to say – I love every one of the designs featured in the magazine and on the website.
My quilt (Pacific Paradise), features the gorgeous Inn The Beginning Fabrics designed by Jason Yenter. The quilt is pictured on Page 100 of the Shop Hop magazine, and the instructions are available on pages 101 – 108.
It’s an easy quilt to make. I designed some of the blocks using Flying Geese to represent the beautiful forests in our region. The second block is meant to represent the valleys up to the tops of our gorgeous mountains. The borders represent the abundant orchards (green) and vines (purple), as well as the streams and rivers (blue) and wildlife (brown), for which our region is known. So proud to call the Pacific Northwest my home.

The quilt will be on display at Kruusn Quilt Shop and Retreat Center in Coos Bay, Oregon, until the end of the Shop Hop on May 31st. Linda Kruusi, the owner of this shop, did the lovely quilting – if you look closely, you can see the little paw prints she added to the quilting design. Stinkin cute! If you are visiting during the Shop Hop, I’d love a picture of the quilt!
The All Pacific Northwest Shop Hop Magazine

There are 126 Oregon, Washington, and Idaho shops participating in this event. Be sure to pick up a copy of the magazine at any participating shop. The event is divided into regions – so you don’t need to do the entire thing to be eligible for prizes.
The magazine includes five beautiful quilts – with complete instructions, details about every participating shop, and lots of other quilty info as well. It will make a great quilting travel resource – even after the Shop Hop ends.
For more information about this shop hop – check out this event in the Quiltblox Event Calendar. It includes a link to the event website.
